TPA terminal information

Tampa International Airport uses a central Main Terminal for ticketing and baggage claim, connected by automated shuttles to four active gate satellites: Airsides A, C, E and F. The airport’s distinctive hub-and-spoke design means passengers check in at the Main Terminal and then take the appropriate airside shuttle after security.

Official parking at Tampa International Airport

Official parking includes the Short Term Garage integrated with the Main Terminal, the adjacent Long Term Garage and the Economy Garage/Lot. Short- and Long-Term parking reach the Main Terminal by pedestrian connections, while Economy parking is linked by the 24-hour SkyConnect train. Accessible parking is available in all airport parking areas.

Rental cars and ground transportation

The on-airport Rental Car Center is connected to the Main Terminal by the SkyConnect train, which also serves Economy Parking. Public buses stop at the Rental Car Center, while taxis, rideshare, hotel shuttles and other services use signed curbside/remote curb areas. A cell-phone waiting lot is available for greeters.

Passenger services and terminal facilities

Free Wi-Fi is available in the Main Terminal and airside buildings on network “TPA.” The airport has extensive dining and shopping, public art, charging, passenger information, family facilities and airline/common-use lounge options distributed across the Main Terminal and airsides.

Accessibility and assisted travel at TPA

TPA provides accessible parking in Short Term, Long Term and Economy facilities, accessible SkyConnect service, elevators and step-free routes, and service-animal relief areas beyond security at every airside. Airline wheelchair assistance should be arranged in advance.
