Pittsburgh International Airport now uses its transformed passenger terminal, opened as the centerpiece of the airport modernization program. The new landside terminal places ticketing, security, baggage claim, rental-car/ground-transport services and parking closer to the existing airside gate complex, making the curb-to-gate journey more direct than the former terminal arrangement.

The new Terminal Garage and Terminal Lot provide more than 6,000 close-in spaces within a short walk of the terminal. Additional economy/extended parking options are served by airport shuttles, with designated accessible spaces across every official parking lot.
